"Valero, from dreams to reality..."

Valero was founded in 1982 under the name Industrial Valero. In the early days the company manufactured and sold cardboard tubes for the textile, thread, paper and plastics industries.

Since the beginning we have been characterised by our substantial investment in R&D+i, and it was due to this that, in 1986, Tubotec was born: a tube made from Kraft cardboard, aluminium and polyethylene, for use in the construction sector as formwork for cylindrical pillars. This marked the start of Valero’s activity in this sector, of which we are now leaders.

Since then, Valero’s investment in R&D+i has given rise to emblematic products that we know only too well: the Reltec thermoformed mould or the Don Pol insulation range (exclusive pioneers in identifying the quality and use of each insulating material, giving it a predetermined colour and thus guaranteeing a quality that no other EPS manufacturer in Spain can reach).

In addition to all this we constantly strive to continue to grow and to always offer the best quality and service to our customers. As a result, today we are a diversified group working in other sectors as well, such as industry and packing and packaging, with a strong presence in international markets.

Our large workforce consists of more than 370 professionals who, sharing the company philosophy, enable us to continue growing each day, becoming the current company of reference in each of the sectors in which we work. And with more than 10 logistics centres throughout Spain and 40 lorries serving the whole of Europe daily, we are able to offer the service that our customers deserve.
