Exterior insulation

Thermal insulation made from BASF Neopor? and consisting of sheets of expanded polystyrene (EPS) with graphite particles, which give it a grey colour and mean that it has a greater insulating capacity with less product density than standard equivalent EPS. As a result it is used as exterior insulation, since its smaller density gives it a greater dimensional stability than any other rigid foam on the market, therefore helping to prevent possible fissures, cracks and detachments in the face of sudden changes in temperature.
With a thermal conductivity of 0.031 W/mK (according to BS-EN 12939) it is particularly recommended for use in exterior insulation.
