Corner guards are small mouldings in an “L” shape, made of metal or plastic, which are used to protect corners or edges of a surface. Generally in brickwork this refers to the corners of brick structures. It is also known as an edger or edge guard..
Guides are used to signal a direction (normally horizontal or vertical) and to guide in the construction process of a covering, with the aim of achieving a plumb perfect, levelled surface which is as smooth as possible.
Rivets are long, thin strips of hollow plastic, used for covering joints or during the application of a single layer of mortar, to create the illusion of joints and divisions in the mortar.
