Asphalt sheets are waterproof sheets composed of tar-like substances derived from asphalt, which are generally used for waterproofing roofs. In order for them to adhere properly to the surface to be waterproofed, heat is applied using a blowtorch.
There are two types depending on the material with which they are made: Elastomer Bitumen and Oxyasphalt. Within these two types are densities that vary from 2 to 5 kilograms and different finishes depending on the framework that gives them consistency (fibreglass, polyester fibre or polyethylene fibre).
